“전남도, 자립준비청년 사회 안착 전폭 지원”

전라남도가 자립준비청년들의 안정적인 사회 정착을 돕기 위해 실질적인 지원정책을 강화하고 나섰다.

전남도는 28일부터 29일까지 이틀간 금호화순스파리조트에서 ‘2025 자립준비청년 출발드림워크숍’을 열고, 자립준비청년의 사회 적응력 향상과 정책 지원 방향을 논의했다.

이번 워크숍은 전남도의 자립준비청년 자립지원 종합계획의 일환으로 2023년부터 매년 추진되고 있다.

올해는 도내 자립준비청년 80여 명이 참여해 자립 역량 강화와 사회 정착을 위한 다양한 프로그램이 진행됐다.

주요 프로그램으로는 금융피해 예방 교육, 자립정보 안내 및 선배 멘토링, 취업·진로·주거 관련 교육, 문화체험과 지역 탐방 등이 마련됐다.

특히 전남희망디딤돌센터를 통한 주거 지원과 취업·진로교육 등 실질적 자립 기반 구축에 중점을 뒀다.

성미숙 전남도 여성정책지원관은 개회식에서 “자립이라는 말이 때로는 막막하고 외롭게 느껴질 수 있지만, 200만 전남도민이 늘 곁에서 응원하고 있다”며 “전남도가 든든한 동반자로서 앞으로도 지속적으로 함께하겠다.”고 밝혔다.

전남도는 자립준비청년이 사회에 안정적으로 정착하고 자신의 꿈을 실현할 수 있도록 자립정착금, 자립수당, 전남희망디딤돌센터 운영 등 경제·주거 지원 사업을 지속 추진하고 있다.

“Jeonnam Province Expands Full Support for the Social Settlement of Self-Reliant Youth”
Practical support in finance, employment, and housing — Policy directions discussed at the “Start Dream Workshop”
Jeonnam Province has strengthened its practical support policies to help self-reliant youth settle stably into society.
From October 28 to 29, the province held the “2025 Self-Reliant Youth Start Dream Workshop” at Kumho Hwasun Spa Resort, discussing policy directions to enhance social adaptation and independence among self-reliant youth.
The workshop is part of Jeonnam’s Comprehensive Plan for Supporting Self-Reliant Youth, which has been implemented annually since 2023.
This year, about 80 self-reliant youth from across the province participated in various programs aimed at strengthening self-reliance and facilitating social integration.
Key programs included financial fraud prevention education, information sessions on self-reliance, mentoring from experienced peers, employment and career guidance, housing education, as well as cultural experiences and local exploration activities.
In particular, the workshop focused on building a practical foundation for independence through housing support via the Jeonnam Hope Stepping-Stone Center and employment and career training.
At the opening ceremony, Seong Mi-suk, Director of the Jeonnam Provincial Office for Women’s Policy, stated,
“The word ‘independence’ may sometimes feel daunting and lonely, but the two million residents of Jeonnam are always cheering you on. Jeonnam Province will continue to stand by your side as a reliable partner.”
Jeonnam Province continues to promote economic and housing support programs such as settlement grants, self-reliance allowances, and the operation of the Jeonnam Hope Stepping-Stone Center to ensure that self-reliant youth can stably integrate into society and pursue their dreams.
