전라남도는 11일 해남 우슬체육관에서 열린 ‘제18회 (사)건설기계개별연명사업자협의회 전라남도회 한마음체육대회’에 참석해 건설기계 종사자들과 소통하며 지역 건설산업의 발전과 상생을 다짐했다.
이날 행사는 (사)건설기계개별연명사업자협의회 전남도회(회장 임순규) 주최로 열렸으며, 종사자와 가족, 내빈 등 2천여 명이 참석해 화합의 장을 이뤘다.
김영록 전남도지사를 비롯해 주철현 국회의원, 명현관 해남군수, 이성옥 해남군의회 의장, 김성일·박성재 전남도의원 등이 함께해 건설기계 산업 발전에 기여한 종사자들에게 표창장을 수여하고 노고를 격려했다.
김영록 지사는 축사에서 “전남의 발전은 곧 건사협의 발자취”라며 “앞으로도 건설경기 활성화와 종사자 권익 보호를 위해 최선을 다하겠다.”고 말했다.
이어 “지역 발전과 올바른 교통문화 정착에 기여하신 수상자들께 축하의 박수를 보낸다.”며 “건사협이 건설현장의 안전 지킴이이자 전남 발전의 든든한 동반자로서 역할을 다해주길 바란다.”고 당부했다.
전남도는 침체된 건설경기 회복을 위해 2026년 정부 예산안에 ‘호남고속철도 2단계’, ‘압해~화원 연륙연도교’ 등 SOC 분야 9,746억 원을 반영하는 등 지역 건설산업 활성화에 총력을 기울이고 있다.
한편, 2004년 설립된 (사)건설기계개별연명사업자협의회 전라남도회는 현재 2,432명의 회원이 활동 중이다.
국토교통부 지정 법정 전문안전교육기관으로서 건설기계 관련 법령, 작업 준수사항, 재해 사례 등을 중심으로 정기 교육을 실시하며 건설기계 산업의 전문성 강화와 사회적 책임 이행에 앞장서고 있다.

Jeonnam Province and Construction Machinery Workers Commit to Advancing the Regional Construction Industry
– Jeonnam Governor Kim Yung-rok: “We’ll do our utmost to revitalize the construction economy and protect workers’ rights” –
Jeollanam-do Province announced that on the 11th, it participated in the “18th Jeonnam Branch United Sports Festival of the Korea Construction Machinery Individual Business Association” held at the Useul Gymnasium in Haenam, where it pledged to cooperate with construction machinery workers to promote the growth and coexistence of the regional construction industry.
Hosted by the Jeonnam Branch of the Korea Construction Machinery Individual Business Association (Chairman Lim Soon-gyu), the event brought together about 2,000 participants, including workers, their families, and guests, in a spirit of unity and fellowship.
Governor Kim Yung-rok, along with National Assembly Member Joo Cheol-hyeon, Haenam County Governor Myung Hyun-gwan, Haenam County Council Chair Lee Sung-ok, and Jeonnam Provincial Assembly Members Kim Sung-il and Park Sung-jae, attended the event to present commendations to workers who contributed to the development of the construction machinery industry and to express their appreciation.
In his congratulatory remarks, Governor Kim said,
“The development of Jeonnam is closely tied to the footsteps of the Construction Machinery Association. We will continue to do our best to revitalize the construction economy and protect the rights and interests of workers.”
He added,
“I extend my sincere congratulations to those who received commendations for their contributions to regional development and traffic culture. I hope the Association will continue to serve as a guardian of safety at construction sites and a reliable partner in Jeonnam’s development.”
To stimulate the sluggish construction economy, Jeonnam Province has secured 974.6 billion KRW in the government’s 2026 budget proposal for major SOC projects, including the Honam High-Speed Rail Phase 2 and the Aphae–Hwawon Link Bridge, reaffirming its commitment to revitalizing the regional construction industry.
Founded in October 2004, the Jeonnam Branch of the Korea Construction Machinery Individual Business Association currently has 2,432 active members.
As a certified legal safety education institution designated by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, the association regularly conducts mandatory safety training focused on construction machinery regulations, operational compliance, and accident prevention. It continues to play a leading role in strengthening professionalism and fulfilling social responsibility within the construction machinery industry.
