청소년이 행복한 전남을 실현하기 위한 ‘2025 전라남도 청소년박람회’가 오는 10월 24일부터 25일까지 이틀간 전남도청 앞 잔디광장에서 열린다.

이번 박람회는 전라남도가 주최하고 (재)전라남도청소년미래재단(원장직무대행 강종철)이 주관하며, 제29회 전남도민의 날 행사와 연계해 진행된다.

특히 청소년 주도 참여 확대를 목표로 청소년기획단이 프로그램 운영에 직접 참여하고, 청소년이 선호하는 공연과 대회, 미래 역량을 키우는 체험 프로그램 등으로 꾸며졌다.

행사 첫날인 24일에는 나산실용예술중학교 취타대 거리 공연을 시작으로 개막식, 가수 원슈타인과 그리의 축하공연, 청소년어울림마당, 과학 커뮤니케이터 엑소쌤의 인문학 강의가 진행된다.

25일에는 청소년꿈발표대회, 로봇대회, 가족퀴즈대회, 방송인 **MC그리(김동현)**의 진로콘서트, 폐막식 등 다채로운 행사가 이어진다.

개막식은 청소년기획단 단장 서유찬(영산성지고) 학생의 환영사를 시작으로 김영록 전라남도지사, 김태균 도의회 의장, 김대중 도교육감 등의 축사와 함께 청소년·청년·내빈이 함께하는 세리머니로 진행된다.

특히 이번 박람회의 핵심인 체험부스는 ‘미래생명존, 행복성장존, 진로드림존, 유스센터존’ 등 4개 주제관과 102개 상설 부스로 구성된다.

VR, 3D, 로봇, 드론, 대학진로, 해양안전, 목공예 등 다양한 체험 프로그램이 마련돼 청소년뿐 아니라 학부모와 도민이 함께 즐길 수 있는 축제의 장이 될 전망이다.

강종철 전라남도청소년미래재단 원장직무대행은 “이번 청소년박람회는 청소년들이 서로의 꿈을 응원하고 자신감을 키워가는 의미 있는 시간이 될 것”이라며 “많은 청소년과 도민들이 참여해 미래세대의 가능성을 함께 확인하기 바란다.”고 말했다.

한편, 전라남도 청소년박람회는 올해로 4회째를 맞이했으며, ‘안전한 박람회, 함께 성장하는 청소년’이라는 목표 아래 지역을 순회하며 청소년 행복감 증진을 위해 매년 개최되고 있다.

Jeollanam-do to Host the 2025 Jeollanam-do Youth Expo on October 24–25
Creating a Happier Province for Youth – Featuring Various Experience Booths, Performances, and Competitions
The 2025 Jeollanam-do Youth Expo, aimed at realizing a happier Jeollanam-do for young people, will be held for two days from October 24 to 25 on the lawn plaza in front of the Jeollanam-do Provincial Government building.
Hosted by Jeollanam-do Province and organized by the Jeollanam-do Youth Future Foundation (Acting President Kang Jong-chul), the event is held in conjunction with the 29th Jeonnam Residents’ Day celebration.
Focusing on youth-led participation, the expo’s programs are organized and operated directly by a youth planning committee. The event will feature performances and competitions popular among young people, along with experiential programs designed to strengthen their future competencies.
On October 24, the first day, the event will begin with a street parade by Nasan Practical Arts Middle School’s marching band, followed by an opening ceremony, congratulatory performances by singers Wonstein and GREE, a Youth Harmony Festival, and a humanities lecture by science communicator “EXO Teacher.”
The second day, October 25, will feature the Youth Dream Presentation Contest, a robot competition, a family quiz contest, a career concert hosted by broadcaster MC GREE (Kim Dong-hyun), and a closing ceremony, among other engaging programs.
The opening ceremony will start with a welcome speech by Seo Yu-chan, head of the youth planning committee and student at Yeongsanseong High School, followed by congratulatory remarks from Governor Kim Yung-rok, Provincial Assembly Chairman Kim Tae-gyun, and Superintendent of Education Kim Dae-jung. The ceremony will also include a joint celebration involving youth, young adults, and invited guests.
The expo’s highlight—the experience booths—will consist of four themed zones: the Future Life Zone, Happy Growth Zone, Career Dream Zone, and Youth Center Zone, featuring a total of 102 permanent booths.
Visitors can enjoy various hands-on programs, including VR, 3D technology, robotics, drones, university career exploration, maritime safety, and woodworking, offering an experience that both youth and families can enjoy together.
Acting President Kang Jong-chul of the Jeollanam-do Youth Future Foundation stated,
“This Youth Expo will be a meaningful opportunity for young people to support one another’s dreams and build confidence. We hope many youths and residents will join us in celebrating and confirming the potential of the next generation.”
Meanwhile, the Jeollanam-do Youth Expo, now in its fourth year, is held annually across different regions under the theme ‘A Safe Expo, Growing Together with Youth’, promoting happiness and growth among the youth of Jeollanam-do.
