전라남도는 2025 남도국제미식산업박람회에서 중국 산둥성 대표단이 참가해 산둥요리를 선보인다고 24일 밝혔다. 박람회는 24일부터 26일까지 3일간 진행된다.

이번 행사에서는 산둥 6미 전병, 무·두부 완자, 삼치 물만두 등 산둥성 각 지역의 특색 요리 10여 가지를 관람객들이 직접 맛볼 수 있다.

전남도는 아시아 우호 교류지역 음식문화 대표단을 초청해 다채로운 미식 교류 행사를 진행하며 글로벌 식문화 다양성을 넓히고 있다.

앞서 일본 고치현과 우즈베키스탄 대표단도 박람회에 참가해 각국의 전통 요리를 선보이며 관람객들의 큰 호응을 얻었다.

일본 대표단은 전통주 ‘도사 사케’, 단짠 스낵 ‘밀레 비스켓’, 고구마 과자 ‘이모겐삐’를 소개했고, 우즈베키스탄 대표단은 볶음밥 ‘오쉬’, 케밥, 전통 빵 ‘논’을 선보였다.

신현곤 전남도 국제협력관은 “이번 박람회는 단순한 문화 체험을 넘어 전남도와 해외 우호교류지역 간 오랜 우정을 재확인하고, 음식과 예술, 시민 교류를 통해 두 지역의 미래 협력 가능성을 넓히는 계기가 됐다”며 “앞으로도 농수산, 관광, 경제 등 다양한 분야에서 상생하는 동반자 관계를 이어가겠다.”고 말했다.

이번 남도국제미식산업박람회에서는 중국 산둥뿐 아니라 아시아 각국의 대표 요리를 한 자리에서 체험할 수 있는 특별한 기회를 제공한다.

“Come Taste Shandong Cuisine from China!”
Namdo International Gourmet Industry Expo, October 24–26, a Culinary Exchange Across Asia in Jeonnam
Jeonnam Province announced on October 24 that a delegation from China’s Shandong Province will participate in the 2025 Namdo International Gourmet Industry Expo to showcase Shandong cuisine. The expo will run for three days, from October 24 to 26.
During the event, visitors can experience more than 10 signature dishes from various regions of Shandong, including the “Six Delicacies” pancakes, radish and tofu meatballs, and Spanish mackerel dumplings.
Jeonnam Province has invited culinary delegations from Asia’s friendly exchange regions to promote a diverse range of gastronomic experiences and enhance global culinary exchange.
Previously, delegations from Kochi Prefecture in Japan and Uzbekistan also participated in the expo, introducing their traditional dishes and receiving enthusiastic responses from visitors.
The Japanese delegation presented traditional sake “Tosa Sake,” sweet-and-salty snack “Mille Biscuit,” and sweet potato snack “Imogenpi.” The Uzbek delegation offered fried rice “Osh,” kebabs, and traditional bread “Non.”
Shinhyeon Gon, International Cooperation Officer of Jeonnam Province, said, “This expo goes beyond a simple cultural experience. It reaffirms the long-standing friendship between Jeonnam and its overseas partner regions, and expands future cooperation opportunities through culinary, artistic, and citizen exchanges. We will continue to cultivate a mutually beneficial partnership across agriculture, fisheries, tourism, and the economy.”
The 2025 Namdo International Gourmet Industry Expo offers a unique opportunity for visitors to experience representative dishes from not only Shandong, China, but also other Asian countries all in one place.
