더불어민주당 해남군수 예비후보인 명현관 후보가 27일 민생과 안전, 농업, 주민자치 현장을 아우르는 종일 강행군 일정을 소화하며 ‘현장 중심 행정’ 의지를 재차 강조했다.

명 예비후보는 이날 오전 북평 남창 오일장을 찾아 상인들과 직접 소통하며 지역경제의 어려움과 현장의 애로사항을 청취하는 것으로 일정을 시작했다.

이어 산이 상공마을 주민 나들이 환송 행사에 참석한 뒤, 북평 금산·안평·평암마을 주민들과 함께 포레스트 수목원을 찾아 숲 체험 프로그램에 참여했다. 이 자리에서 그는 체류형 관광과 치유 중심 콘텐츠 확대 필요성을 강조하며, 해남 관광의 질적 전환 방향을 제시했다.

이후 명 예비후보는 대흥사 일원에서 열린 해남군 의용소방대연합회 자연정화 및 화재예방 캠페인에 참석해 안전 행보를 이어갔다.
그는 “군민의 생명과 안전을 지키는 것이 행정의 최우선 과제”라며 “사고 이후 대응이 아닌 예방 중심의 안전 정책을 강화해야 한다”고 강조했다.

농업 분야 현장 점검도 이어졌다. 명 예비후보는 산이부동지구 가루쌀 교육 현장을 방문해 농업 구조 전환과 고부가가치 농업 육성 방안을 점검하고, 산이농협 하나로마트 신축 점포를 찾아 지역 농산물 유통 기반을 살폈다.
그는 “농업 역시 데이터와 기술이 결합된 미래 산업으로 전환해야 한다”며 스마트 농업과 유통 혁신의 필요성을 강조했다.

오후에는 송지면과 현산면 주민자치회의에 잇따라 참석해 지역 현안을 청취하고, 정주환경 개선과 생활밀착형 정책 추진 의지를 밝혔다. 주민들과의 직접 소통을 통해 지역 맞춤형 정책을 구체화하겠다는 구상이다.

명 예비후보는 “정치는 프레임으로 흔들 수 있지만 행정은 결과로 증명해야 한다.”며 “군민의 삶 속에서 답을 찾고, 해남의 미래를 현장에서 완성해 나가겠다.”고 말했다. 이어 “AI·에너지·농업·문화를 결합한 ‘ACE 전략’을 통해 해남을 대한민국 농어촌수도로 도약시키겠다.”고 강조했다.

From traditional markets to local councils… “Administration must prove itself through results, elevating Haenam with the ACE Strategy”
Myung Hyun-kwan, a preliminary candidate for Haenam County Governor from the Democratic Party of Korea, carried out an intensive full-day schedule on the 27th, visiting sites related to livelihoods, safety, agriculture, and local governance, once again emphasizing his commitment to “field-centered administration.”
He began his day by visiting the Namchang Five-Day Market in Bukpyeong, where he communicated directly with merchants and listened to the difficulties facing the local economy and on-the-ground concerns.
He then attended a farewell event for a village outing in Sangong Village, Sani, and later joined residents from Geumsan, Anpyeong, and Pyeongam villages in Bukpyeong at a forest arboretum for a nature experience program. At the site, he stressed the need to expand stay-type tourism and healing-oriented content, presenting a direction for upgrading the quality of tourism in Haenam.
Afterward, he participated in an environmental cleanup and wildfire prevention campaign organized by the Haenam Volunteer Fire Brigade Federation near Daeheungsa Temple.
He stated, “Protecting the lives and safety of residents is the top priority of administration,” adding, “We must strengthen preventive safety policies rather than focusing only on post-incident responses.”
His field visits also extended to the agricultural sector. He visited a flour rice (garu-ssal) training site in the Sani Budong district to review strategies for restructuring agriculture and fostering high value-added farming. He also inspected the newly built Hanaro Mart of the Sani Agricultural Cooperative, checking the distribution infrastructure for local agricultural products.
He emphasized, “Agriculture must also transition into a future industry combined with data and technology,” highlighting the need for smart agriculture and innovation in distribution systems.
In the afternoon, he attended local residents’ autonomy council meetings in Songji and Hyeonsan, listening to community issues and expressing his commitment to improving living conditions and implementing policies closely aligned with residents’ daily lives. His plan is to develop tailored regional policies through direct communication with citizens.
Myung stated, “Politics can be swayed by framing, but administration must prove itself through results,” adding, “I will find answers within the lives of residents and complete Haenam’s future on the ground.”
He further emphasized, “Through the ‘ACE Strategy,’ which integrates AI, energy, agriculture, and culture, I will elevate Haenam into Korea’s leading rural capital.”
