더불어민주당 해남군수 예비후보인 명현관 후보가 사회적 약자를 위한 복지 행보와 지역 문화 콘텐츠 강화를 아우르는 현장 중심 행보를 이어가며 ‘사각지대 없는 민생 정치’를 본격화하고 있다.

명 예비후보는 28일 하루 동안 장애인, 어르신, 지역 예술인, 주민 공동체를 잇는 전방위 현장 일정을 소화하며 복지와 문화, 안전을 결합한 통합형 정책 비전을 제시했다.

이날 오전 9시, 명 예비후보는 장성에서 열리는 기념식에 참석하는 해남군장애인협회 회원 120여 명을 다목적체육관에서 배웅하며 공식 일정을 시작했다.
이어 인조축구 3구장을 찾아 훈련 중인 그라운드 골프팀을 격려하며 “장애인과 노인 등 취약계층의 이동권 보장과 생활체육 활성화는 모두가 행복한 해남을 위한 핵심 과제”라고 강조했다.

특히 보편적 복지 인프라 확충을 통해 ‘아이·여성·어르신이 함께 누리는 복지 도시’ 구현 의지를 분명히 했다.

같은 날 오전 11시 30분경에는 황산면 출신 트로트 가수 미스김의 6시 내고향 촬영 현장을 방문해 지역 문화 자산의 전략적 육성을 강조했다.
명 예비후보는 “지역 출신 스타는 해남의 브랜드 가치를 높이는 핵심 자산”이라며 “전통과 현대를 결합한 문화 산업화를 통해 해남을 K-컬처 거점으로 키우겠다.”고 밝혔다.

배우자 역시 ‘내조 행보’로 힘을 보탰다. 오전 7시 옥천면 도림마을 주민 나들이 현장을 찾아 환송 인사를 전한 데 이어, 오전 10시 30분에는 계곡면에서 열린 이순신 장군 탄신 기념식에 참석해 주민들과 소통하며 지역 행사 참여를 이어갔다.

이날 명 예비후보는 이외에도 황산 송호마을 경로잔치, 화원면 새마을부녀회 견학 배웅, 치유농업연구회 선진지 방문 격려, 계곡초등학교 계곡놀이 한마당 등 다양한 현장을 찾았다.
특히 문내 충무사에서 열린 제481주년 충무공 이순신 탄신 다례제에 참석해 호국 정신을 기리는 한편, 해남군 제57회 연합회 칠순 합동잔치를 방문해 어르신들의 건강을 기원했다.

오후에는 옥천면 영춘1구 주민들과 소통 식사를 통해 지역 현안을 청취했으며, 저녁에는 북평 자율방범대장 취임식에 참석해 지역 안전망 구축에 헌신하는 관계자들을 격려했다.

명 예비후보는 “군민의 삶 속에 답이 있다는 신념으로 복지, 문화, 안전을 아우르는 촘촘한 행정을 실현하겠다.”며 “에너지와 첨단농업, 사람이 중심이 되는 문화가 결합된 ‘ACE 해남’을 반드시 완성하겠다.”고 밝혔다.

Myung Hyun-gwan, a preliminary candidate for Haenam County Governor from the Democratic Party of Korea, is intensifying his field-oriented campaign by combining welfare initiatives for the socially vulnerable with efforts to strengthen local cultural content—signaling the full-scale launch of “people-centered politics with no blind spots.”
On the 28th, Myung carried out a full day of on-site engagements connecting people with disabilities, senior citizens, local artists, and community residents, presenting an integrated policy vision that combines welfare, culture, and public safety.
At 9 a.m., he began his official schedule by seeing off about 120 members of the Haenam Association for the Disabled at a multipurpose gymnasium as they departed for a commemorative event in Jangseong. He then visited an artificial turf soccer field to encourage a ground golf team in training, emphasizing that “ensuring mobility rights for the disabled and elderly, and revitalizing community sports, are key tasks in creating a Haenam where everyone can live happily.”
He also made clear his commitment to building a “welfare city for all—children, women, and the elderly alike”—through the expansion of universal welfare infrastructure.
Later, around 11:30 a.m., Myung visited the filming site of Miss Kim, a trot singer from Hwangsan-myeon, for the Six O’Clock Hometown program. He stressed the strategic importance of nurturing local cultural assets, stating, “Local stars themselves are powerful ambassadors who elevate Haenam’s brand value,” and added, “By combining traditional music with regional characteristics, we will industrialize culture and elevate Haenam to a global K-culture hub.”
His spouse also contributed through supportive outreach, visiting residents of Dorim Village in Okcheon-myeon at 7 a.m. to see them off on an outing, and later attending a commemorative ceremony for Admiral Yi Sun-sin’s Birth Anniversary Ceremony in Gyegok-myeon at 10:30 a.m., engaging with local residents.
Throughout the day, Myung continued visiting various community events, including a senior citizens’ banquet in Songho Village, a send-off for a Saemaeul Women’s Association tour in Hwawon-myeon, encouragement for a therapeutic agriculture research group, and a school festival at Gyegok Elementary School. He also attended the 481st memorial tea ceremony for Admiral Yi Sun-sin at Chungmusa Shrine in Munnae, honoring the spirit of national defense, and later visited the 57th joint 70th-birthday celebration for seniors in Haenam.
In the afternoon, he shared a meal with residents of Yeongchun 1-ri in Okcheon-myeon to listen to local concerns, and in the evening attended the inauguration ceremony of the Bukpyeong Volunteer Patrol Chief, expressing gratitude to those dedicated to strengthening community safety.
“My belief is that the answers lie in the lives of the people,” Myung said. “I will implement meticulous governance that encompasses welfare, culture, and safety, and complete ‘ACE Haenam,’ where energy, advanced agriculture, and people-centered culture come together.”
