더불어민주당 명현관 해남군수 예비후보가 4월 29일 하루 동안 지역 전역을 순회하며 민생 현장을 직접 챙기는 강행군 일정을 소화했다. 이장단 환송부터 장애인 복지 나들이, 면민 행사, 정책 면담까지 이어진 이날 행보는 ‘현장에서 답을 찾는 군정’이라는 메시지를 분명히 드러냈다.

명 예비후보는 이날 오전 7시 문내면 용암·석교리 등 14개 마을 이장단 나들이 환송 현장을 찾아 지역 현안과 생활 불편 사항을 청취하며 일정을 시작했다.
농어촌 고령화, 마을 기반시설 개선, 정주여건 문제 등 현장의 목소리를 직접 듣고 “행정의 출발점은 주민의 삶”이라며 실효성 있는 대응을 약속했다.

이어 오전 8시에는 ‘함께해요 사회적협동조합’이 추진하는 장애인 활동지원 서비스 행복여행 출발 현장을 방문해 참여자들을 격려했다.
명 예비후보는 “복지는 단순한 지원이 아니라 삶의 존엄을 지키는 기본권”이라며 “이동권과 여가권이 보장되는 해남을 만들겠다.”고 강조했다.

오전 9시 40분에는 송지면민의 날 행사에 참석해 주민들과 함께 지역 공동체의 의미를 되새겼다. 그는 “해남의 경쟁력은 결국 사람과 공동체에서 나온다.”며 “면 단위 공동체가 살아야 해남 전체가 살아난다.”고 말했다.

이어 오전 10시 30분에는 선거사무실에서 지역 인사들과 면담을 갖고 농업·관광·에너지 등 다양한 분야의 정책 제안을 청취했다.
특히 체류형 관광 활성화, 농업 소득 다변화, 마을 단위 기후환경·에너지 복지 인프라 확충 등에 대한 심도 있는 논의가 이어졌다.

명 예비후보는 “군정은 계획보다 실행, 선언보다 체감이 중요하다.”며 “AI·에너지·문화가 결합된 ‘ACE 해남’ 전략을 바탕으로 군민이 체감하는 변화를 만들어내겠다”고 밝혔다.
이어 “앞으로도 읍·면 현장을 더욱 촘촘히 찾아 군민과 함께 정책을 설계하고, 실질적인 삶의 변화를 이끌겠다.”고 덧붙였다.

한편 명 예비후보는 향후 현장 중심 일정을 확대해 생활밀착형 공약을 지속 발굴하고, ‘농어촌수도 해남’의 발전 전략을 구체화해 나갈 계획이다.

Myung Hyun-kwan, a preliminary candidate for Haenam County Governor from the Democratic Party of Korea, completed an intensive schedule on April 29, touring the region to directly address local livelihood issues. His day—spanning meetings with village leaders, disability welfare support activities, community events, and policy discussions—clearly underscored his message of “finding answers through on-site governance.”
He began his day at 7 a.m. in Munnae-myeon, seeing off an outing for village heads from 14 villages, including Yongam and Seokgyo. During the visit, he listened to local concerns and everyday inconveniences, including rural aging, infrastructure improvement, and residential conditions. “The starting point of administration is the lives of residents,” he said, pledging practical and effective responses.
At 8 a.m., he visited the departure site of a “happiness trip” organized by the Together Social Cooperative, which provides activity support services for people with disabilities. Encouraging participants, Myung stated, “Welfare is not just support—it is a fundamental right that protects human dignity,” adding that he would work toward making Haenam a place where mobility and leisure rights are fully guaranteed.
At 9:40 a.m., he attended the Songji-myeon Residents’ Day event, joining locals in reflecting on the value of community. “Haenam’s strength ultimately comes from its people and communities,” he emphasized. “Only when township-level communities thrive can Haenam as a whole prosper.”
At 10:30 a.m., he held meetings with local figures at his campaign office, listening to policy proposals across various sectors including agriculture, tourism, and energy. In particular, discussions focused on promoting stay-type tourism, diversifying agricultural income, and expanding climate and energy welfare infrastructure at the village level.
“My administration will prioritize execution over plans and tangible results over declarations,” he said. “Based on the ‘ACE Haenam’ strategy—integrating AI, energy, and culture—I will deliver real changes that residents can feel.” He added, “I will continue to visit towns and villages more closely, design policies together with residents, and lead meaningful improvements in people’s daily lives.”
Meanwhile, Myung plans to further expand his field-oriented schedule, continuously develop livelihood-focused pledges, and concretize strategies to position Haenam as a “rural capital.”
