더불어민주당 명현관 해남군수 예비후보가 전통시장과 수산업 현장, 마을 공동체 행사장을 잇달아 찾으며 현장 중심 민생 행보를 이어갔다.

군민들의 생활 속으로 직접 들어가 지역 현안을 살피고 소통을 강화하는 광폭 행보다.
명 예비후보의 하루는 해남읍 고도리 터미널과 오일장에서 시작됐다.
이른 아침부터 장을 보러 나온 군민들과 상인들로 북적이는 시장 곳곳을 돌며 주민들과 일일이 인사를 나누고 지역 경기와 생활 현장의 목소리를 청취했다.

명 예비후보는 “군민들께서 현장에서 들려주시는 생생한 이야기가 가장 큰 힘이자 정책의 출발점”이라며 “현장에 답이 있다는 마음으로 늘 군민 곁에서 함께하겠다.”고 말했다.
이어 송지면 송호리에서 열린 ‘수산물 전복 유통물류센터 착공식’에 참석해 해남 수산업 경쟁력 강화 방안과 어민 지원 의지를 밝혔다.

명 예비후보는 “최근 전복 가격 하락과 판로 문제 등으로 어민들의 어려움이 커지고 있는 현실을 누구보다 무겁게 받아들이고 있다”며 “이번 유통물류센터가 해남 수산물의 경쟁력을 높이고 안정적인 유통 기반을 구축하는 새로운 전환점이 되길 기대한다.”고 강조했다.

또 “생산만이 아니라 저장·유통·판매까지 연결되는 체계적인 시스템 구축이 중요하다”며 “어민들이 안정적인 소득을 올릴 수 있도록 유통 구조 개선과 판로 확대에 힘쓰겠다.”고 밝혔다.
민생 현장 행보는 마을 공동체로도 이어졌다.

명 예비후보는 삼산면 충리 마을회관에서 열린 경로잔치를 찾아 어르신들과 인사를 나누고 생활 불편과 복지 현안 등을 청취했다.
어르신들에게 큰절로 인사를 건넨 그는 “오늘의 해남을 만들어 오신 어르신들이 존중받고 행복한 노후를 보내실 수 있도록 더욱 세심한 복지와 공동체 정책을 추진하겠다.”며 “건강하고 따뜻한 해남을 만드는 데 최선을 다하겠다.”고 말했다.

명 예비후보는 이날 일정을 마무리하며 “군민이 행복한 ‘살기 좋은 해남’을 만드는 것이 가장 중요한 책무”라며 “현장의 목소리를 군정의 최우선에 두고 군민 삶을 세심하게 보듬는 책임 있는 행정을 펼쳐가겠다.”고 밝혔다.

Myung Hyun-gwan, preliminary candidate for Haenam County Mayor from the Democratic Party of Korea, continued his field-oriented outreach campaign by visiting traditional markets, fisheries sites, and local community events.
His wide-ranging schedule focused on directly engaging with residents, listening to local concerns, and strengthening communication with the community.
Candidate Myung began his day at the Godeori Terminal and the traditional five-day market in Haenam-eup.
Walking through the bustling marketplace filled with residents and merchants carrying shopping bags early in the morning, he greeted people one by one while listening to concerns about the local economy and everyday life.
“The vivid stories residents share with me in the field are my greatest source of strength and the starting point of policy,” Myung said. “With the belief that the answers are always found on the ground, I will continue to stand alongside our residents.”
He later attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the Seafood Abalone Distribution and Logistics Center in Songho-ri, Songji-myeon, where he outlined plans to strengthen Haenam’s fisheries competitiveness and support local fishermen.
“I deeply understand the growing hardships fishermen are facing due to falling abalone prices and distribution difficulties,” he said. “I hope this logistics center will become a turning point that enhances the value of Haenam seafood products and establishes a stable distribution system.”
He further emphasized, “What matters is not only production, but also creating an integrated system that connects storage, distribution, and sales. We will work to improve distribution structures and expand sales channels so that fishermen can earn stable incomes.”
His grassroots outreach also extended to local village communities.
Candidate Myung visited a senior citizens’ community banquet held at the Chungri Village Hall in Samsan-myeon, where he greeted elderly residents and listened to concerns related to welfare and daily life.
Offering a respectful deep bow to the seniors, he said, “The elderly who built today’s Haenam deserve dignity and a happy retirement. I will pursue more attentive welfare and community-centered policies so they can enjoy healthy and comfortable lives.”
Concluding the day’s schedule, Myung stated, “Creating a ‘pleasant and livable Haenam’ where residents are happy is my most important responsibility. I will place the voices of residents at the highest priority and carry out responsible administration that carefully embraces the lives of our people.”
