더불어민주당 민형배 후보가 20일 담양과 광주 일원에서 민생 현장 중심의 시민 소통 행보를 이어간다.

민 후보는 이날 오전 7시 30분 담양군 고서면 동운리 고서사거리 일원에서 출근인사에 나서 지역 주민들과 출근길 시민들을 만나 현장 목소리를 청취할 예정이다.

이어 오전 8시 40분에는 담양 창평시장을 방문해 상인들과 주민들을 만나 지역경제와 민생 현안을 살피며 시장 상권 활성화와 서민경제 회복 방안 등에 대한 의견을 나눌 계획이다.
또 이날 오후 7시에는 광주 상무사무소에서 사회복지계 정책전달식이 진행된다.

민 후보는 사회복지 관계자들과 만나 복지 현장의 목소리를 청취하고 시민 체감형 복지정책 방향에 대해 논의할 예정이다.
민 후보 측은 “시민 삶의 현장에서 직접 답을 찾고, 지역과 시민이 중심이 되는 정책을 지속적으로 확대해 나가겠다.”고 밝혔다.

From Morning Greetings to Traditional Market Visits and a Social Welfare Policy Delivery Ceremony
Min Hyung-bae, candidate of the Democratic Party of Korea, will continue his people-centered outreach campaign on May 20 through a series of public engagement events across Damyang and Gwangju.
Candidate Min is scheduled to begin the day at 7:30 a.m. with a morning greeting campaign at the Goseo Intersection in Dongun-ri, Goseo-myeon, Damyang-gun, where he will meet local residents and commuters to hear firsthand concerns from the community.
At 8:40 a.m., he will visit Changpyeong Market in Damyang to meet merchants and residents, discussing regional economic issues, revitalization of traditional markets, and measures to support ordinary citizens and small businesses.
Later in the evening at 7:00 p.m., a policy delivery ceremony with members of the social welfare sector will be held at his Sangmu office in Gwangju.
During the event, Candidate Min plans to listen to voices from the welfare field and discuss practical welfare policies aimed at improving the daily lives of citizens.
Candidate Min’s side stated, “We will continue to find answers directly from the lives of citizens and expand policies centered on local communities and the people.”
