더불어민주당 민형배 후보가 21일 광주 전역을 돌며 시민들과 직접 소통하는 현장 중심 일정을 이어간다.

민 후보는 이날 오전 10시 40분 국립 5·18민주묘지를 찾아 참배하며 오월 정신 계승과 민주주의 가치 실천 의지를 다질 예정이다.
이어 오전 11시 40분부터 오후 1시까지 광주 북구청 교차로에서 시민 인사를 진행하며 출근·점심시간대 시민들과 만나 민생 현안과 지역 발전 방향에 대한 의견을 청취한다.

오후 일정도 광주 주요 거점을 중심으로 이어진다.
민 후보는 오후 2시부터 3시까지 광주대 사거리에서 시민들을 만나고, 오후 4시부터 5시까지는 광주 서구 풍금사거리에서 거리 인사와 현장 소통 행보를 이어갈 계획이다.

특히 오후 5시에는 광주 5·18민주광장에서 집중 유세를 진행하며 민주주의 정신 계승과 시민주권 시대 비전을 강조할 예정이다.
이후 오후 6시부터 8시까지는 광주 수완지구 국민은행 사거리 일원에서 시민 인사와 함께 골목상권 거리투어에 나선다.

민 후보는 지역 상인들과 시민들을 만나 경기 침체와 지역경제 활성화 방안, 골목상권 지원 정책 등에 대한 현장 의견을 청취할 계획이다.
민형배 후보 측은 “시민들의 삶 속으로 더 가까이 들어가 현장의 목소리를 직접 듣고 정책에 반영하는 시민 중심 선거운동을 이어가겠다.”고 밝혔다.

From Paying Tribute at the May 18 National Cemetery to Local Market Street Tours… “We Will Listen Directly to Citizens’ Voices”
Democratic Party candidate Min Hyung-bae will continue his field-oriented campaign across Gwangju on May 21, meeting citizens directly throughout the city.
Candidate Min is scheduled to visit the National May 18 Democratic Cemetery at 10:40 a.m. to pay tribute and reaffirm his commitment to the spirit of the May 18 Democratic Uprising and democratic values.
He will then greet citizens from 11:40 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Buk-gu Office intersection in Gwangju, where he plans to listen to residents’ opinions on livelihood issues and regional development during the busy lunch-hour period.
His afternoon schedule will continue at key locations across Gwangju.
From 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Min will meet citizens at the Gwangju University intersection, followed by another street greeting and outreach event from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Punggeum intersection in Seo-gu District.
At 5:00 p.m., the candidate will hold a major campaign rally at Gwangju’s May 18 Democracy Square, emphasizing the succession of democratic values and his vision for a citizen-centered era of governance.
Later, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Min will conduct a street tour and citizen greeting event around the Kookmin Bank intersection in Suwan District, visiting local commercial areas and engaging with small business owners and residents.
During the tour, the candidate plans to hear firsthand concerns regarding the economic slowdown, revitalization of local businesses, and support measures for neighborhood commercial districts.
A representative from Min Hyung-bae’s campaign stated, “We will continue conducting a citizen-centered campaign by going deeper into people’s everyday lives, listening directly to their voices, and reflecting those opinions in our policies.”
