더불어민주당 명현관 해남군수 후보가 공식 선거운동의 시작을 알리는 대규모 출정식을 열고 본격적인 거리유세에 돌입한다.

명 후보는 박지원 국회의원을 비롯한 민주당 후보들과 함께 ‘원팀’ 체제를 강조하며 3선 고지를 향한 압도적 승리를 다짐할 계획이다.

명현관 후보 선거대책본부는 21일 오전 9시 해남버스터미널 앞 광장에서 출정식을 개최하고 본격적인 세몰이에 나선다고 밝혔다.

이번 출정식은 해남버스터미널 집중 유세를 시작으로 오전 10시부터 고도리 오일시장 해성철물 앞에서 장날을 맞은 군민과 상인들을 대상으로 2부 거리유세를 이어가는 방식으로 진행된다.

특히 이날 행사에는 해남·완도·진도 지역구 국회의원인 박지원 의원이 참석해 명현관 후보를 비롯한 민주당 후보들에 대한 강력한 지원유세를 펼칠 예정이어서 관심이 집중되고 있다.

박 의원은 연설을 통해 중단 없는 해남 발전과 안정적인 군정 운영 필요성을 강조하며 민주당 ‘원팀’의 결집력을 군민들에게 호소할 것으로 알려졌다.
이날 출정식에는 민주당 소속 해남지역 출마자들도 총출동한다.

전남광주통합특별시의회의원 선거에 출마한 김성일 후보(제1선거구), 박성재 후보(제2선거구)를 비롯해 해남군의회의원 선거에 출마한 민찬혁·민경매·이기우(가선거구), 이성옥·김미숙(나선거구), 노중희·박상정(다선거구), 한종천·김영환(라선거구) 후보 등 민주당 공천 후보 전원이 참석해 결속력을 과시할 예정이다.

행사는 음향 점검과 사전 준비를 시작으로 개회 선언, 후보자 소개 및 연설, 박지원 의원 지지연설 순으로 진행된다.

이어 참석자 전원이 “해남의 대도약, 이어가야 완성됩니다”라는 핵심 슬로건을 함께 외치며 구호 제창과 군민 감사 큰절을 진행한 뒤, 박지원 의원과 함께 오일시장 거리 인사에 나설 계획이다.

명현관 후보는 “이번 출정식은 단순한 선거운동의 출발이 아니라 군민 여러분과 함께 만들어 온 청렴 행정과 예산 1조 원 시대의 성과를 바탕으로 해남을 대한민국 최고의 농어촌수도로 완성하겠다는 약속의 자리”라며 “박지원 의원님과 민주당 원팀 후보들이 하나로 뭉쳐 압도적인 승리로 해남의 중단 없는 대도약을 반드시 이어가겠다.”고 밝혔다.

Democratic Party of Korea candidate for Haenam County Governor, Myung Hyun-gwan, will hold a large-scale campaign launch ceremony marking the official start of the election campaign and begin full-scale street campaigning.
Candidate Myung plans to emphasize the strength of the Democratic Party’s “One-Team” alliance alongside National Assembly member Park Jie-won and fellow party candidates, pledging an overwhelming victory in his bid for a third term.
According to Myung’s election camp, the official launch ceremony will be held at 9 a.m. on May 21 in front of the Haenam Bus Terminal, where supporters and residents are expected to gather in large numbers.
Following the first rally at the bus terminal, the campaign will move at 10 a.m. to the Haeseong Hardware area inside the Godori Five-Day Market, where the second round of street campaigning will continue with merchants and residents visiting the traditional market day.
Particular attention is being drawn to the event as National Assembly member Park Jie-won, who represents the Haenam-Wando-Jindo constituency, is scheduled to deliver a powerful endorsement speech in support of Myung Hyun-gwan and other Democratic Party candidates.
Rep. Park is expected to stress the need for uninterrupted development in Haenam and stable county administration while calling on residents to unite behind the Democratic Party’s “One-Team” leadership.
The event will also see the full participation of Democratic Party candidates running in the Haenam region.
Candidates Kim Sung-il (District 1) and Park Sung-jae (District 2), who are running for the Jeonnam-Gwangju Integrated Special Metropolitan Council, will attend alongside county council candidates Min Chan-hyuk, Min Kyung-mae, and Lee Gi-woo (District Ga), Lee Seong-ok and Kim Mi-sook (District Na), Noh Jung-hee and Park Sang-jung (District Da), and Han Jong-cheon and Kim Young-hwan (District Ra), demonstrating the party’s united front.
The ceremony will begin with sound checks and preparations, followed by the opening declaration, introductions and speeches by the candidates, and Rep. Park Jie-won’s endorsement speech.
Participants will then chant the campaign slogan, “Haenam’s Great Leap Forward Must Continue to Be Completed,” offer a collective bow of gratitude to residents, and conclude the event with greetings to citizens throughout the traditional market alongside Rep. Park.
Candidate Myung stated, “This launch ceremony is not merely the start of an election campaign, but a powerful pledge to complete Haenam’s transformation into Korea’s leading rural and fisheries capital, building upon the achievements of clean administration and the era of a one-trillion-won budget achieved together with our residents.”
He added, “Together with Rep. Park Jie-won and our capable Democratic Party one-team candidates, we will secure an overwhelming victory and continue Haenam’s uninterrupted great leap forward.”
