중앙선거관리위원회가 제9회 전국동시지방선거를 앞두고 총 570억 원 규모의 선거보조금을 각 정당에 지급했다.

선거보조금은 최근 실시된 총선 기준으로 선거권자 수에 일정 금액을 곱해 총액을 산정한 뒤,
국회 의석수와 정당 득표율 등을 반영해 배분된다.
또한 여성·장애인·청년 후보자를 추천한 정당에는 별도의 추천보조금이 추가로 지급된다.
