“새벽 장터에서 경로잔치까지”… 명현관, 군민 곁 누비며 ‘민생 소통’ 강화

더불어민주당 명현관 해남군수 예비후보가 새벽부터 지역 곳곳을 누비며 군민들과 직접 호흡하는 현장 중심 민생 행보를 이어갔다.

오일장부터 마을 경로잔치, 주민 나들이 환송까지 촘촘한 현장 일정을 소화하며 “군민 곁에서 답을 찾겠다”는 의지를 다시 한 번 강조했다.
명 예비후보는 7일 오전 7시 해남읍 오일장을 찾아 상인들과 주민들을 만나며 하루 일정을 시작했다.

시장 곳곳을 돌며 지역 경기 상황과 소상공인들의 애로사항을 청취한 그는 민생경제 회복과 전통시장 활성화 필요성을 강조했다.
이어 송지면 동현마을회관을 방문해 나들이를 떠나는 주민들을 환송하며 안전한 여정을 기원했고, 해남군 수협에서 열린 한국여성어업인 해남군분회 나들이 출발 현장도 찾아 여성 어업인들을 격려했다.

명 예비후보는 “해남 수산업과 지역경제를 묵묵히 지켜온 여성 어업인들의 역할이 매우 크다”며 “농어업의 경쟁력을 높이고 현장의 어려움을 해결하는 정책 마련에 더욱 힘쓰겠다.”고 밝혔다.

오후에는 어르신 복지와 공동체 소통 현장을 집중적으로 찾았다.
명 예비후보는 현산면 신방마을과 옥천면 용천·화당마을에서 열린 경로잔치에 잇따라 참석해 어르신들의 안부를 살피고 생활 불편 사항과 지역 현안을 경청했다.

그는 “어르신들이 존중받고 행복한 노후를 보낼 수 있도록 마을 중심의 맞춤형 복지서비스를 더욱 강화하겠다.”며 “복지 사각지대 없는 해남을 만들기 위해 생활 밀착형 복지 인프라 확충에도 최선을 다하겠다.”고 말했다.

이날 명 예비후보의 배우자도 지역 봉사와 경로 효친 활동에 함께하며 내조 행보를 이어갔다.
배우자는 산이 새마을부녀회의 열무김치 담그기 봉사 현장을 찾아 일손을 돕고 관계자들을 격려했으며, 산이면 흑두마을 경로잔치에도 참석해 어르신들과 소통하는 시간을 가졌다.

명현관 예비후보는 “현장에서 만나는 군민들의 생생한 목소리가 곧 해남 발전의 방향”이라며 “그동안의 청렴한 행정 경험과 성과를 바탕으로 농어업 경쟁력을 높이고, 군민이 체감하는 변화를 통해 대한민국을 대표하는 ‘농어촌수도 해남’을 반드시 완성하겠다.”고 강조했다.

한편 명 예비후보는 최근 오일장 방문과 마을 순회, 주민 나들이 환송, 경로잔치 참석 등 생활 밀착형 현장 행보를 이어가며 군민과의 직접 소통 강화에 집중하고 있다.

“From Dawn Markets to Senior Citizen Feasts”… Myung Hyun-kwan Strengthens Grassroots Outreach Among Residents
Visits traditional markets, community outings, and senior gatherings… “We will complete Haenam as the nation’s leading rural capital”
Myung Hyun-kwan, preliminary candidate for Haenam County Governor from the Democratic Party of Korea, continued his field-centered outreach campaign by visiting communities across the region from early morning, directly engaging with residents.
From traditional five-day markets to village senior banquets and community outing send-offs, Myung carried out a tightly packed schedule, once again emphasizing his determination to “find answers alongside the people.”
Beginning his day at 7 a.m. on May 7, Myung visited the Haenam-eup traditional market, greeting merchants and local residents.
Walking throughout the marketplace, he listened to the difficulties faced by small business owners and stressed the importance of revitalizing the local economy and traditional markets.
He later visited Donghyeon Village Hall in Songji-myeon to send off residents departing on a community outing, wishing them a safe and enjoyable trip.
He also attended the departure event for the Haenam branch of the Korea Women Fishermen’s Association held at the Haenam Fisheries Cooperative, where he encouraged female fishery workers devoted to the development of the local fishing industry.
“The role played by women fishers who have quietly sustained Haenam’s fisheries and local economy is extremely significant,” Myung stated.
“We will work harder to develop practical policies that strengthen the competitiveness of agriculture and fisheries while resolving difficulties faced in the field.”
In the afternoon, he focused on welfare and communication with senior citizens and local communities.
Myung consecutively attended senior citizen appreciation gatherings held in Sinbang Village of Hyeonsan-myeon and Yongcheon and Hwadang villages in Okcheon-myeon, checking on the well-being of elderly residents while listening to local concerns and community issues.
“We will further strengthen customized village-centered welfare services so that seniors can enjoy respected and comfortable lives,” he said.
“We will also do our utmost to expand practical welfare infrastructure to create a Haenam without blind spots in social welfare.”
Myung’s spouse also joined regional volunteer and community support activities throughout the day.
She participated in a volunteer event organized by the Sani Saemaeul Women’s Association, helping prepare yeolmu kimchi and encouraging volunteers, while also attending a senior citizens’ gathering in Heukdu Village, Sani-myeon, where she spent time listening to elderly residents.
“The voices of residents we hear directly in the field are the very direction of Haenam’s future,” Myung said.
“Based on clean administration and proven achievements, we will enhance the competitiveness of agriculture and fisheries and complete Haenam as Korea’s representative ‘Rural Capital’ through policies that residents can truly feel in their daily lives.”
Meanwhile, Myung has recently continued a series of grassroots outreach activities, including visits to traditional markets, village tours, community outing send-offs, and senior citizen events, while strengthening direct communication with residents.
